Designed and proven to out perform a standard Ama in both speed and performance in all water conditions. 
The PAi TORPEDO
A long waterline is a faster water line, and the PAi TORPEDO Ama has at least an additional 1m of waterline than a standard banana shaped Ama. This longer, faster waterline also means less drag and therefore less pull to the left, allowing the steerer to be more active in paddling forward.
When going up wind the PAi TORPEDO Ama pierces through the waves, rather than smashing into them and bouncing up and down. This keeps momentum moving forward instead of slowing the canoe and tipping it right, throwing the crew off balance.
When going down wind the PAi TORPEDO Ama gives support at the front which gives the canoe stability and keeps it level. This support means that the Ama isn’t looking for water and then pulling left. The PAi TORPEDO Ama's bow shape pierces and pushes through the wave in front rather than the crew having to wait for the wave to diminish or needing to push up and over the top, in turn tipping the canoe right.
The PAi TORPEDO Ama does all that an Ama should do - but better.
