HAMMERHEAD Dogfish – Double Bend Hybrid Paddle
The HAMMERHEAD Dogfish is a double bend hybrid paddle designed for use in both single and team outrigger canoe configurations. It is engineered to provide balanced stroke application and controlled water engagement across varied paddling conditions.
The paddle features a 9.5 inch (24cm) blade width combined with a 12° blade angle. This blade configuration is designed to support sustained positive face contact and consistent drive through the stroke cycle during training and racing use.
The blade is constructed using a PMI CNC machined foam core encased in a 3k Camo Carbon weave. This construction method provides structural integrity while maintaining reduced overall weight. The shaft is manufactured as a handcrafted three piece timber laminate, combining laminated timber with composite reinforcement.
The HAMMERHEAD Dogfish weighs approximately ± 500 grams and is available in lengths ranging from 46 inches to 52 inches to accommodate varying paddler heights and preferences.
